For my first site visit for this rotation, I presented 1 HPI along with the drug cards to PA Ramkumar. She gave me feedback during the first site visit to make sure to include a list of differential diagnoses even if the diagnosis may seem clear. She also advised me to make sure to elaborate more on the physical exam portion that is relevant to the chief complaint. I also presented Pharm cards to her and she tested us on it and it helped us retain the information much better.

On my final site visit for this rotation, I presented 1 HPI, a journal article on diabetes, and Pharm cards. PA Ramkumar gave great feedback and said that overall my HPI was great and the journal article on diabetes had interesting results. Similarly, she tested us on the Pharm cards again during this visit and this helped me retain the information. Overall, the site visits with PA Ramkumar went great and I appreciate her taking her time to meet with us and give us advice on how to become more competent PAs.
