My site evaluation was done by Professor Melendez virtually and in both evaluations, I presented 2 H&Ps, 10 pharm cards, and a journal article. During both evaluations, Professor Melendez said that my H&Ps were thorough and included good history taking along with a concise relevant physical exam. He stated that my pharm cards were also very informative and included all of the required information. The site visits were done individually which was different from my prior two evaluations but I liked it because it gave me more opportunities to ask questions and receive more pertaining feedback to my write-ups. Regarding my journal article during my final site visit, Professor Melendez thought it was an excellent idea but asked me several follow-up questions on how yoga during pregnancy can be implemented in specifically Woodhull hospital patients. I proposed the idea that a hospital-developed yoga program may be the most beneficial as patients can come for their weekly routine prenatal care appointments and also attend yoga classes. Overall, the site evaluations with Professor Melendez were very helpful and the individual visits helped me prepare well.
